The Apex Teen™
(Adaptive By Design™)
(Ages 13–18)
Building the Foundation for Peak Performance and Structural Integrity.
The teenage years are a period of rapid growth and high physical demand. Whether they are high-school athletes or students spending hours at a desk, their skeletal system is often "racing" to keep up with their muscles.
The Apex Teen™ uses The amaDEO R.A.D. Method™ to ensure joints are protected while building the power needed for life and sport. We help students stay strong, focused, and resilient during their most transformative years of development.
Program Focus
- Power Mechanics: Learning to lift, run, and jump with precision to protect growing joints and increase athletic ability.
- Postural Integrity: Reversing "Tech Neck" and the slumping caused by long hours at a desk or on devices.
- Resilient Recovery: Mastering the "Decompress" phase to avoid burnout, manage stress, and stay in the game.
The R.A.D. Pillars for Teens
- RISE | Core-to-Extremity Power: We teach the mechanics of power. By mastering breath and bracing, teens learn to move with significantly less risk of injury, ensuring their muscles support their growing frames.
- ALIGN | Structural Integrity: We address the postural slumping common in modern students. Our goal is to ensure the spine stays healthy and aligned during rapid growth spurts.
- DECOMPRESS | The Recovery Mindset: We prioritize mobility and nervous system reset, teaching young athletes that the "Decompress" phase is the secret to avoiding burnout and staying competitive.
The Apex Teen Protocol: Specialist + Trainer
- Mobility (The Specialist): Restoring hip and shoulder range of motion to offset long hours of sitting and "Tech Neck."
- Metabolism (The Trainer): Building functional strength and explosive power through high-intensity, age-appropriate conditioning.
- Posture (The Specialist): Stabilizing the spine and pelvis to support rapid skeletal growth and athletic performance.
Adaptive By Design™: Levels of Participation
- Level 1 (Bed/Couch): Focused on core stability and joint mobility. Ideal for active recovery days or when managing high stress/injury.
- Level 2 (Seated): Focused on postural correction and upper-body power utilizing a chair—perfect for a controlled, focused environment.
- Level 3 (Standing/Active): Full-range functional movements, resistance training, and dynamic agility drills for the teen ready to reach their peak.
One Community: No matter which level you choose, you are an athlete. We move together, exactly as we are.
amaDEO Circle™
"The final 10 minutes of every session are dedicated to the amaDEO Circle™. We treat our teens like family, which means supporting the whole household. This is a time for parents and friends to connect, ask questions about athletic recovery or posture, and discuss how to support a healthy lifestyle during these busy years."
How to Begin the Apex Journey
To ensure your student's growth is supported with The amaDEO Standard, we follow a three-step process:
- The Foundations Assessment: Complete a 4-session Youth R.A.D. Assessment to map posture, power mechanics, and movement safety.
- The Membership: Activate your amaDEO R.A.D. Membership™. This provides your teen with specialist oversight and access to our supportive community.
- The Block: Enroll in the 8-week The Apex Teen™ program block.
